First to be invited on the Ellen Degeneres show was Charice Pempengco, and now it is Pinoy rocker / balladeer Arnel Pineda.Arnel Pineda's ticket to fame is his brilliant renditions of Journey, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, Air Supply, Survivor, and other '70s, '80s, and '90s songs. In fact, his version of such songs were so similar to the original that Journey's guitarist, Neal Schon, noticed and took him up to be a part of the band.
And Arnel Pineda not only has his talent to thank but also YouTube, and the guy who uploaded his performances on the popular video-sharing site. Apparently, Ellen also got a glimpse of the rockista through YouTube and has invited him to be on the show (with Journey), so expect another Pinoy performance on an American show soon.
