Jericho Rosales and Anne Curtis in New Movie 'Baler'

With the new team-up with Anne Curtis, along with his other projects, 2008 has to arguably be Jericho Rosales' year.

First it was the international movie and soap projects in the US and Malaysia, and then the Jericho Rosales - Kristine Hermosa love team revival, which ABS-CBN management has now announced will be pursued with a Echo-Tintin MMK episode, teleserye, and pelikula. And if that wasn't enough, Jericho, who was on the verge of going laos, has made an even grander comeback with another major project lined up.

Baler is the movie by Viva Films that will star the new love team of Jericho Rosales and Anne Curtis. Apparently, Viva Films was searching for a suitable leading man to pair Anne with, and they have now officially selected Jericho for the part.

"Originally titled The Siege of Baler from the script of Roy Iglesias to be directed by Mark Meily, this is a fictionalized love story set in a very real historical background during the siege of Baler during the Spanish era ... Anne will play a Spanish girl in love with a Pinoy Katipunero na si Echo."

Kristine Hermosa Talks about Jericho, Diether, Oyo

With the end of Jericho Rosales and Heart Evangelista's relationship came about another opportunity to appropriately rekindle the flame on-screen with first and only love team partner Kristine Hermosa.

Kristine Hermosa is very excited to work with her former boyfriend Jericho Rosales. In fact she was quite enthusiastic-sounding when she reported the reunion with Echo on Wowowee, and of course, kinilig din ang mga audience. It is clear that the magic and chemistry is still alive in the minds of the people, and the Echo-Tin Tin love team, which was perhaps one of the most powerful and successful love teams of all time, still has a strong following and fan base today.

Kristine goes on to say that although their relationship did end in a break-up, she still has long been wanting to work with her friend Jericho again. She says that it is fun to work with Echo and that it is going to be exciting to see how things work out as they have both matured since they were last together. Their MMK episode is set to be completed this month and a movie and teleserye are being seriously talked about. Until then, the masses wait in anticipation.

Regarding other ex-boyfriend Diether Ocampo, she says that she still loves him and that Diet will always have a place in her heart, regardless if they had parted ways and have different boyfriends/girlfriends.

And about her latest suitor Oyo Boy Sotto, she says that she is no rush in getting back into a new relationship with anyone at the moment. She says that it is not hard to love Oyo Boy, but she is just not ready to take their friendship to the next level and open up her heart for a new relationship.

Finally, regarding the controversy with Prinsesa ng Banyera direk Andoy Ranay, Kristine says that if the circumstances are peaceful, she is quite willing to work again with the director she reportedly had a spat with. Tintin says she is very professional and treats her work very seriously, so she would rather work with people who treat her work and her with the same respect.

Jericho Rosales' Comeback

It is very true Jericho Rosales is back in the spotlight and this may very well be his year based on the number of opportunities being handed over his way.

His recent break-up with Heart Evangelista was the launch of his name back into showbiz headlines. Although it was perhaps the end of a good thing, it seems that there was a very beneficial trade-off with the loss of that relationship. With the number of projects going on for Echo, it seems that he is better off without the extra baggage in order to allow more focus to his career, which was on the brink of becoming totally laos and unrecoverable.

Now, Jericho is finishing up with some of his international commitments, specifically the I Luv U Virus movie with Briana Evigan and the Malaysian filmed soap A Time for US with Carmen Soo. Also happening in Malaysia is the launching of Jericho Cologne by Natasha.

And perhaps to top all of that is the comeback and revival of the Echo-Tin Tin (Jericho Rosales and Kristine Hermosa) love team. A Maaalala Mo Kaya (MMK) episode is in the works and will be filmed this month. Moreover, a movie offer is being made for the katambal, and it looks like it will pull through. A teleserye is also in the talks, but they are waiting for a solid go signal from the producers of ABS-CBN.

Although they are going to try to bring back on-screen the magic and chemistry of yesterday, Jericho maintains that it will be strictly professional and trabaho lang with his friend Kristine Hermosa.

Jericho Rosales and Kristine Hermosa Reunite: MMK, Movie, Teleserye

It started with a rumor a couple of weeks ago about the possibility of a Kristine Hermosa-Jericho Rosales re-team-up for a soap, but it wasn't quite set in stone as Jericho was in Malaysia and was not able to give a solid answer. But now, with Jericho back, and a "yes" to the offer, it looks like Echo & Tin Tin fans can now rejoice with the love-team revival.

Back from shooting his latest soap opera with Malaysian actress Carmen Soo in "A Time For Us," Jericho is back in the Philippines and has agreed to do an episode on Maaalala Mo Kaya (MMK) with Kristine Hermosa. And so buo ulit ang pagtatambalan ni "Buboy" at "Yna," as they were popularized in the teleserye "Pangako Sa 'Yo."

And not only that, but there are also plans for a Echo-Tin Tin movie and comeback teleserye. Abangan!

Heart Moves On; No Chance of Getting Back Together with Echo

It seems that Heart Evangelista is indeed very sure about her decision with breaking up with Jericho Rosales. And there is apparently no chance of reconciliation as she maintains that she is "moving on."

She did confirm that a third part was indeed the cause of the break-up.

"The third party, it's true," said Heart. "Pumunta si Jericho doon sa bahay ng Malaysian girl. Aside from nakita ko si Jericho...nakita ko din ang pagbabago niya. Bago ko pa narinig ang mga taong nagsalita tungkol doon, nakita ko na na malaki ang ipinagbago niya at nag-aaway na kami dahil parang hindi ko na siya mapigilan."

Apparently Heart insinuated that there was something going on between Jericho and his Malaysian leading lady Carmen Soo in a new soap being shot in Malaysia.

Another girl being talked about is Hollywood actress Briana Evigan, whom Jericho worked with in an international movie titled I Luv U Virus.

Apparently really ticked off and annoyed with Jericho's statements on tv, she sent this final text message to Echo, who is apparently trying hard to patch things up:

She said, "Narinig ko nung una na I broke up with you on TV tapos binawi mo. Ngayon naman, ang dami mong sinabi sa TV. All I can say is, stop it. Stop it at sawang-sawa na ako. Tama na, tapos na yun. I will really find it in my heart to eventually to forgive you, but just stop it. Stop saying bad things about me. It's time for you to move on and it's time for me to move on. I hope you find somebody that you would surely love and who'll understand you. I'll just see you around."

Perhaps it's time for Jericho to move on as well, as this relationship looks like a done deal.

Jericho Rosales & Heart Break-up: Buzz Interview Video

Jericho Rosales appeared on The Buzz a couple of days ago to address his break-up with now GMA-7 Kapuso artista Heart Evangelista.

Echo denied accusations that he cheated on Heart with neither female co-star Carmen Soo in the Malaysian soap opera nor his American co-star Briana Evigran in the Hollywood film "I Luv U Virus."

Although Jericho did admit that it seemed the relationship was over, he concluded the interview hoping there could still be friendship and peace between him and Heart.
