Recently, buzz was created from the alleged split of the high-profile couple Kris Aquino and James Yap. But in reality, it wasn't a permanent hiwalayan, but just a fight, cool-off period, and then kiss and make up.What was the cause of the whole issue? Apparently Ai-Ai Delas Alas. Supposedly, Direk Wenn Deramas is in the process of filming the movie Ang Tanging Ina ng Bayan [Ang Tanging Ina Ninyong Lahat] and needed a scene done by Kris Aquino, who is a good friend of both Wenn and Ai-Ai. So without hesitation, Kris agreed.
This apparently ticked James Yap off, because Ai-Ai had made a joking statement, "Isoli mo muna si James sa nanay niya," during the James-Hope Centeno controversy that James apparently took quite seriously. So that's what spurred James to leave the house before reconciliating a week or two after.
