Pinoy Idol Down to 16; Vren, Regene, Sherwin, Rye Eliminated

Pinoy Idol is now down to 16 contestants as four more are eliminated from the singing contest. Vren, Regene, Sherwin, and Rye received the lowest votes and hence ended their quest for the title.

The Top 20 were instructed to sing songs from the year they were born during this week's performance night. Rye sang his version of the Styx's "Babe"; Vren sang "Windy Beaneath My Wings" by Bette Midler; Regene sang "With Or Without You" by U2; Sherwin went with Barry Manilow's "The Old Songs."

Despite the effort given in their performances, these contestants seemed to accept their fate without objection and with good sportsmanship.
