In a concert tribute to songwriter David Foster, Filipino singing superstar Charice Pempengco recently performed at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada and received two standing ovations for her stunning performance last Friday, May 23rd.Charice joined the likes of Andrea Bocelli, Alicia Keys, Josh Groban, John Mayer, Baby Face, Brian McKnight, Katharine McPhee, Kenny G, and Michael Buble to honor one of the music industry's most celebrated songwriters and producers. The concert, David Foster and Friends, was a one-night-only live event.
The young Filipina belter, not only wowed the audience, but impressed the other singers as well, receiving compliments from the likes of Josh Groban. As David Foster proclaimed that night, "Tonight, a star is born."
