Brawl and Drug Dealing at Embassy Bar & Restaurant

A recent brawl at the Embassy Bar and Restaurant outside of Manila at The Fort, Fort Bonifacio in Taguig City has forced authorities to close it down temporarily.

The popular club, owned by Erik Cua along with partners Tim Yap, Fernando Aracama, and Jon Herrera, is the "it" place for rich yuppies, celebrities, socialites, and elite personalities.

But Embassy has also been known for its controversies, particularly the reported brawls and drug dealing. The most publicized of these fight incidents was that of model Borgy Manotoc versus Carlo Brown. Regarding the drug-dealing, Embassy denied the allegations and dismissed the talks as exaggerated and based merely on hearsay meant to tarnish the bar's reputation.

The Embassy Bar and Restaurant will remain shut down until further notice. Right now, Embassy Cuisine, Cafeteria and Members Only are all open.
